Mario Ancic’s Comeback

Croatian player had no luck in his career. After he won St Pettersburg in October 2006, reached TOP 10 and won a Davis Cup with Croatian team, Mario Ancic had mononucleosis, a shoulder injury and knee operation. he didnt play any Tournament in 2008, and he came back this week and advanced to Semifinals of Marseille Open 13. On his way to Semifinals, Ancic had beaten Australian Open finalist Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Teimuraz Gabashvili and his last victim was probably best Swedish player Robin Soderling. After 1hour and 47 minutes, Mario advanced in Open 13 Semifinals with final 6:3, 6:7 (4), 6:2
For Finals, Ancic will have to win Marcos Baghdatis, who upended the third-seeded Mikhail Youzhny 7-6 (2), 6-3
Second Semifinals Couple is fourth-seeded Andy Murray who beated Nicolas Mahut 7-5, 7-6 (5), and Paul-Henri Mathieu who was better than defending champion Gilles Simon 6:3, 6:4
